How to Become a Nurse

Based on information from the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Employment Projections that was released in 2013, registered nursing Jobs are expected to grow between now and 2022. Job openings are expected to increase making NURSING one of the nations top, in-demand jobs!
When we talk about ‘how to become a nurse’, we’re really talking about becoming a registered nurse or getting your RN. You can start with just an associate degree (from a state-approved nursing school) or a 4-year bachelor program. Once you’ve completed your nursing program, you must pass your state license (NCLEX). Once you’ve passed, you’re ready to start work in your field.
